Olivia & Kurtis | San Francisco Fairmont Destination Elopement
These two Aussies met working at their local supermarket nearly eight years ago, and they have been together ever since. When they imagined getting married, they knew that they wanted to skip the fuss of throwing a full wedding and they just wanted to fly across the world and elope somewhere in America. It would be a wedding and honeymoon in one! They were just deciding between New York City and San Francisco, and after finding the perfect setting at the SF Fairmont Hotel, San Francisco won out. They had the blessings of their families to go off and get married and have a wonderful time, and so Olivia and Kurtis took off from Australia and came to sunny California for a beautiful and incredibly stylish wedding day, just the two of them.
Olivia’s dress is straight off the runway from Ginger & Smart in Australia. It’s a bit bold, she kept saying. I love it. Why not be bold on your wedding day?
We headed over to the roof garden for the ceremony. I asked them if they were nervous, and Olivia said she was just excited to marry her best friend.
And then we got to roam around the penthouse suite for some more photos! This place is incredible.
Hey, we found Australia. And then we headed over to Alamo Square for some quick photos with the Painted Ladies.
Finally, back at the Fairmont, it was time for a champagne toast, and the newlyweds would enjoy their first meal together as Mr. & Mrs.
Cheers! Congratulations Olivia & Kurtis!
