Denicia & Mark | Westin, San Jose Wedding Photography
Between Denicia’s three jobs and Mark’s parenting and demanding job as a lawyer, these two might never have met were it not for the magic of modern dating apps. But thankfully, after connecting online, they immediate clicked in conversation. After setting a date for a Friday, they got so eager to meet each other that they actually met even earlier over coffee, which turned into a long conversation and prelude to that pizza date. They were soon introducing each other to their families, discussing marriage and building a life together, vacationing internationally, and about a year later, formally getting engaged last winter. They chose to be wed at the Westin San Jose, and it was a beautiful day filled with berry tones and their closest family and friends. Glimpse a bit of their day below!

Building a new little family!
Denicia’s sweet tooth definitely had its place in the reception! And so did their first date over pizzas– with pizzas available on every table as soon as guests sat down!
As a few people mentioned in their speeches, Denicia looks extremely strong on the outside, but she’s secretly soft and tender on the inside. A friend once described her as a teddy bear with claws. But it’s one of the things Mark saw in her right away, and they were both able to break from the armor of their facades.
After their first dance, Denicia surprised Mark by having a dance with his son.
And Mark joined in at the end too.
