Lesley & Min | Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise Wedding
The mountains rise grandly over the distinctive blue-green lake, with the glaciers peeking through the center of it all. Lake Louise is an absolute gem in the Canadian Rockies, and it served as the perfect backdrop for Lesley and Min’s beautiful wedding day. What an honor to travel to this special place and to document the celebrations for this warm and loving couple.
The day began with a traditional Chinese tea ceremony.
A beautiful tie-in with both modern and traditional elements, as designed by Julianne Young Weddings.
Then it was time to get ready for the western ceremony down by the lake.
A very sweet first look.
And a stroll over to the lake, as the many, many tourists made way for the bride and groom.
Ceremony time, and plenty of emotions seeing the bride enter from afar.

Beautiful tablescapes awaited inside the Victoria Ballroom. An elegant blend of blues and pinks, and tea-themed tables.
Lake Louise enamel mugs filled with teas and candies served as the guest favors to remind us always of this wonderful day in this spectacular place.
A wonderful speech by the maid of honor Gemma, who said has actually been anticipating this moment and mentally constructing the speech ever since Lesley and Min started dating six years ago.
One of the guests happens to be a magician, so he went around entertaining all the tables during dinner.
A trivia game with guests deciding which things were more Lesley or more Min.
And the shoe game.
Summertime days means the sun doesn’t set until 10:30pm! Perfect to continue enjoying the views of Lake Louise from the reception.
