A brief life update from me: I just accepted a position in Oakland Chinatown as a BAYAC AmeriCorps member with OASES, and I’ll be working with the QUEST After School Program. Not enough acronyms? The short story is that I will be working at the Oakland Asian Students Educational Services helping to run an after school program at Cleveland Elementary, an Oakland Unified public school by Lake Merritt.
I’m excited for this new adventure! Stay tuned to see how it goes.
