Grapefruits & A Waterfall | Los Angeles Travel Photography
Back in February, I hit the (very familiar) road for a solo road-trip down to Los Angeles. I got to visit my friends Kevin and Jenny’s new home in Alhambra, check out a waterfall hike with my friend Connie, sneak in an “Art for Art” shoot, and even go grapefruit picking in the city of LA. All in all, a pretty great trip.
The best roast beef sandwich ever at Fiore Market Cafe in Pasadena.
Connie and I met up for some weekday hiking in Eaton Canyon.
Tree hugger.
Waterfalls in Southern California in the midst of a drought. Who knew?
I went down the street with Kevin and Jenny to check out this open house, just to see what it was like… I think we fell for the staging more so than the house itself.
Back at the new Yauhaus!
Kev has quite the whiskey collection.
KBBQ, of course.
And then we went grapefruit picking! Jenny found out about this through the City of LA, which owns this orchard up on the northwestern side of town.
We totaled 77.5 pounds of grapefruit for a price of $.15/lb. Pretty great.
And then I made grapefruit tarts and ate grapefruit for the next three weeks. Delicious.
Thanks for another great trip, LA. Hopefully I’ll be back soon to visit Kevin and Jenny’s new baby!
