San Francisco Bay Area | June, 2017

|

Here’s a little glimpse of my June in the Bay: a craft night, a victory parade, a garden party, and a pile of rugs!

First up, craft night at Do-Hee’s studio (which has since been sold, so she’s looking for a new space!) We all brought our own crafts to work on. Nicole’s was macrame!

Kayla brought some needlework projects.

And I, of course, brought watercolors and knitting!

My friend Yifan was in town for the weekend and whipped this creation up in no time flat.

Giant pizzas! And me with Yifan.

The whole crafty crew. Oh, also, the Warriors won the championship that night too!

The next day, I joined Nancy and Ryan to watch Hamilton! They had an extra ticket on hand and so I had to spend zero effort acquiring it. So good, and it lived up to all the hype.

San Francisco City Hall adorned in Warriors colors.

The Warriors’ victory parade in Oakland! I learned from my experience two years ago getting stuck in the crowd and nearly being trampled, so I just went in the very beginning and headed home as soon as the parade started.

Natalie threw a beautiful party in the studio garden celebrating how she transformed it from a weed jungle to a beautiful space featured in Sunset Magazine!

Such a beautiful family! Congrats Natalie + Seth!

More little watercolor vignettes from around the bay: a hat from the Degas millinery exhibit at the Legion of Honor, and the AirBeeNBee bee hotel at the Lake Merritt gardens.

Finally, a giant pile of rugs after a day of shooting for Revival Rugs (coming soon)!
