San Francisco Bay Area | Fall, 2016
Life has been pretty great this fall, photographing beautiful weddings and hanging out with friends and fellow creatives in my free time here in the Bay. Here are some scenes from around town, August through October, 2016.
Wine and cheese with Kayla at Bay Grape in Oakland.
A work party with Fiber Florist Vivian and watercolor painter Pamela Baron.
Coffee date at Blue Bottle, Oakland.
Post-dinner Bi-Rite Ice Cream with Dan and his family.
A visit to the Glassybaby hot shop in Berkeley with my cousin Theresa.
A verb for keeping warm. Giant ball of wool!
Flowers by Natalie from Alice & Arthur.
I drink a lot of Boba Guys. Here’s a sample over the last couple months…
With Rachael & Brianne at Boba Guys!
With Whitney at Musashi.
With Tiffany & Greg at Great China.
Visiting the new Tartine Manufactory with Yifan!
And Ampersand, which just announced they’ll be expanding and moving out of this tiny, adorable garage.
Dinner (The Perennial) & Symphony (Yuja Wang) with Tiffany.
Stanley Kubrick exhibit at the Contemporary Jewish Museum with Dan. I had to borrow his DVD set to give myself a crash course in Kubrick films leading up to this.
And the art galleries downstairs… a metal curtain + a fan = endlessly mesmerizing waves.
Big spinning wheels of sand. Also mesmerizing.
I also made my first visit to In Situ, the restaurant inside SFMOMA, with Brianne and Julia. Their menu replicates famous dishes from restaurants all over the world.
Everything was delicious, but I was a particularly big fan of my umami soup. Loved the yuzu flavor!
Afterwards, we wandered the museum a bit, of course.
