Karen & Sam | 3 Years After I Do

|

Anna Wu Photography is celebrating 10 years in business this month! In honor of the anniversary, we’re catching up with past clients to see where they are today, in our “After I Do” series.

Today’s couple is Karen & Sam, who were wed at the Ohio Statehouse on September 14, 2013.

So… How has life has changed in the last 3+ years?

In the past 3 years, we both got new jobs, added a dog to the family, bought a house, rented out our house and moved into an apartment with our best friends, and did some traveling around the world!

Do you ever look back at your wedding photos? Do you have any favorite images from your wedding day?

We have several of our photos framed in our home, so I look at them all the time! Two of my favorites are the one where we are fist bumping each other during our first “not look” and when we’re sitting on the bench outside of the Statehouse. We also watch our video on our anniversary every year.

Looking back on your wedding day, is there anything you wish you had known or done differently?

Honestly, no. To me, everything about our wedding was perfect. We set out to have a day filled with family, friends, laughter, love and dancing.. and we had all of it and more! Actually, I take that back – I wish I had eaten more cake.

Any advice for couples who are about to get married?

Don’t sweat the small stuff. At the end of the day, people won’t remember what your cake topper looked like, or what color your napkins were. They’ll remember how happy they were to share your special day with you.

If you’re a past wedding client and would like to be included in this series, it’s not too late to fill out the form!
