Frame Wall | Pointe of View

|

Every Monday, I feature an image and backstory from my Pointe of View series. For more, view all these ballerina posts or visit the Pointe of View store.

I am in love with this photo grouping I put up on my bedroom wall. These are various test prints that I’ve made over the past few months, trying several print labs to perfect my limited edition signature prints that are for sale in the Pointe of View store. The images on my wall in order from left to right are: a 4×6″ of Fairytale Dream, a 20×30″ canvas of Silk & Steel, a 11×14″ of Storybook Tree, 16×20″ of Reach, and 11×14″ of Sweet Repose.

My favorite strategy for creating a gallery cluster of mismatched frames is to have them share a common horizontal line. I figured out my layout on the floor before I started. I then mounted the canvas to the wall, and then I spaced everything around it accordingly.
